BRINGING SOLID SURFACE BASEBALL LOCKERS TO THE BIG 10

In 2024, Penn State University Nittany Lions Athletics began renovation of the baseball locker room at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.  The university approached Shield to manufacture the lockers and we naturally said hell yes.

Shield worked collaboratively with the university’s athletic department to deliver 49 lockers truly unique to the needs of Nittany Lions Baseball. The locker design features a solid surface build and laminate back.

Additional features include:

• Lockbox with digital lock
• Soft-close upper storage
• Integrated feature lighting
• Integrated power + USB
• Drop-down lumbar storage drawer
• Marine grade vinyl bench seat and embroidered lumbar cushion
• Soft-close ventilated bench drawer

In total, 45 lockers found their new home at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park, giving the Nittany Lions a competitive edge for training and recruitment.
