BRINGING SOLID SURFACE LOCKERS TO COLLEGIATE GOLF

In 2021, University of Montana began renovating Dahlberg Arena, home of Grizzlies Basketball. OZA was named the architect for the project, and Shield was tapped to manufacture the lockers.

Shield worked collaboratively with the university’s athletic department and OZA to deliver 17 player lockers truly unique to the needs of Grizzlies basketball. The locker design features a solid surface build and laminate back.

Additional features include:

• Integrated feature lighting
• Backlit upper storage with acrylic nameplate
• Ventilated shoe shelf
• Etched color-infilled logos
• Lockbox with digital lock
• Milk acrylic doors
• Marine-grade vinyl seat cushion
• Ventilated lower storage with lift-up seat

In total, 23 lockers found their new home at the Dahlberg Arena, giving the Grizzlies a competitive edge for training and recruitment.
