SHIELD TEAMS UP WITH FAIRFIELD FOR THEIR 5TH LOCKER ROOM

In 2021, Fairfield University Athletics began renovating the men's basketball locker room at Walsh Athletic Center. Fairfield Athletics and Shield go together like peanut butter and jelly, so it was a no brainer to team up and give the Stags the Shield treatment (again).

Shield worked collaboratively with the university's athletic department to deliver 20 player lockers truly unique to the needs of Fairfield Stags basketball. The lockers feature a solid surface build and laminate back. Additional features include:

• Soft-close upper storage
• Direct print logos
• Plexiglass pivoting pocket door
• Integrated feature lighting
• Integrated USB and power
• Ventilated soft-close lower drawers
• Locking shoe cabinet with digital lock

In total, 20 lockers found their new home at Walsh Athletic Center, setting the bar for recovery and recruitment in the MAAC.

Shield has also created gameday basketball lockers, as well as soccer and volleyball lockers for the Stags.
