In 2020, University of New Mexico Athletics began renovating the women's swim & dive locker room at Seidler Natatorium. Being such a wet environment, solid surface is a perfect material to use in a swim & dive locker room.

Shield worked collaboratively with the university's athletic department to deliver 35 player lockers truly unique to the needs of New Mexico Lobos swim & dive. The lockers feature a solid surface build and laminate back. Additional features include: routed color-infilled logo, locking overhead storage with digital lock, and perforated lift-up bench storage.

In total, 35lockers found their new home at Seidler Natatorium, setting the bar for recovery and recruitment in the Mountain West Olympic space.

Shield has also created women's basketball and track/cross country lockers for the Lobos.
