MODERNIZING OVER 140 YEARS OF FOOTBALL HERITAGE

In 2020, Naval Academy Athletic Association, in partnership with Dimensional Innovations, began construction of the Ron Terwilliger Center for Student-Athletes - a 25,000-square foot facility that pays homage to the rich history of Navy Athletics and serves as a focal point for the development and recruitment of Navy’s student-athletes.

Shield worked collaboratively with Dimensional Innovations and the NAAA to deliver 175 custom solid surface lockers. With a program as storied and recognizable as Navy Athletics, it was paramount to embody the Midshipmen's identity, right down to the color-matched solid surface. The locker design features a solid surface build and laminate back. Additional features include: backlit player nameplate, direct-print logos, toe kick lighting, lockbox with mechanical lock, and perforated lift-up bench storage.

 In total, 175 lockers found their new home in the Ron Terwilliger Center for Student-Athletes, bringing one of the most historical programs in the country to the cutting edge of competition and recruitment.
