SHIELD BRINGS SOLID SURFACE SOCCER LOCKERS TO THE NWSL

In 2021, KC Current began construction of a brand new, state-of-the-art training facility. Generator Studio was named the architect on the project, and Shield Lockers was tapped to manufacture the lockers.

Shield worked collaboratively with Generator and the team to deliver 30 player lockers truly unique to the Current. The lockers feature a solid surface build and a laminate back. Additional features include:

  • Soft-close upper storage
  • Acrylic nameplate
  • Dual solid surface pivot-pocketing doors
  • Integrated USB and power
  • Marine grade vinyl bench seat
  • Soft close ventilated bench drawer

In total, 30 lockers found their new home in the new Current Training Facility, giving the KC Current a competitive edge for training and recruitment.
