A New Locker Room for the Biggest Team in Sports

Inter Miami’s new Nu Stadium at Miami Freedom Park, opened in April 2026 and designed by MANICA Architecture, is a 26,700-seat soccer-specific venue that serves as the centerpiece of a $1B+ investment designed to function as a year-round destination rather than just a matchday facility. Backed primarily by private funding and driven by the global appeal of Lionel Messi, the project integrates retail, office space, a hotel, and one of Miami’s largest public parks, creating diversified revenue streams beyond ticket sales. When Shield was offered the opportunity to team up with MANICA and Inter Miami in the locker room, we didn't hesitate.

Shield worked collaboratively with the MANICA and Inter Miami to deliver 40 lockers truly unique to the needs of Inter Miami. The locker design features a solid surface build and laminate back.

Additional features include:

• Backlit acrylic nameplate
• Direct-print graphics
• Feature lighting
• Integrated power + USB
• Custom chair connection (chair by others)
• Active ventilation
• Inductive charger
• Lockbox with digital lock
• Architectural paneling above lockers

In total, 23 lockers found their new home at Nu Stadium at Miami Freedom Park, giving Inter Miami CF a competitive edge for gameday and recruiting.
