SHIELD'S FIRST HOCKEY LOCKER

In 2021, Oak View Group began construction of Acrisure Arena - the 300,000 sq. ft., 10,000+ seat home of the Coachella Valley Firebirds, AHL affiliate team of the Seattle Kraken. Populous was the architect on the project, and Shield Lockers was tapped to manufacture the lockers.

Shield worked collaboratively with the team and the architecture firm to deliver 23 player lockers truly unique to the Firebirds. The lockers feature a solid surface build and a laminate back. Additional features include:

• Walnut laminate over black solid surface
• Custom skate hook
• Backlit acrylic nameplate
• Marine-grade vinyl seat cushion and backrest
• Soft-close, ventilated lift-up bench storage

In total, 27 lockers found their new home in Acrisure Arena, giving the Firebirds a competitive edge for training and recruiting.
