BRINGING SOLID SURFACE LOCKERS TO THE HOUSTON COUGARS

The Endeavor Health Performance Center, Chicago Fire FC’s new $100+ million training complex on the Near West Side, marks a major milestone for the club and city. Opened in March 2025 through a naming partnership with Endeavor Health, the 56,000-square-foot facility features five full-size pitches, an indoor dome, cutting-edge recovery and fitness spaces, locker rooms, and offices that serve the first team, Fire II, and the Academy. For the Fire, it reestablishes a strong urban presence and provides a world-class home base to drive performance, development, and deeper connection with Chicago. Crawford was named the architect for the project, and Shield was tapped to manufacture the lockers.

Shield worked collaboratively with the Chicago Fire and Crawford Architects to deliver 34 player lockers truly unique to the needs of the Chicago Fire. The locker design features a solid surface build.

Additional features include:

  • Integrated feature lighting
  • Jersey display
  • Custom-stitched marine grade vinyl bench seat and backrest
  • Lockbox with digital lock
  • Pivot-pocket door
  • Equipment hooks
  • Ventilated lift-up bench seat
In total, 206 lockers found their new home at Endeavor Health Performance Center, giving the Fire a competitive edge for training and recruitment.
